Try: "Alexa - play Milo Fryling"

Milo Fryling has worked continually to improve his skills in playing and teaching since beginning piano at age 7. He majored in music and physics at Oberlin College, tutoring aural skills and accompanying modern dance classes while a student. He studied a full summer at the Aspen Music School, and has completed numerous workshops and lessons in Alexander technique, Feldenkrais, yoga, Dalcroze eurhythmics and choral conducting.

His experience includes teaching vocal music and sight-singing workshops, directing Finnish, German and sacred choirs, performing solo piano and chamber music recitals, musical theater and accompanying choirs.

Milo has released a CD of original piano music, "At the Leading Edge of Memory", and has had several choral compositions performed. He currently performs piano regularly with the Cosmic Horizon band, the La Mesa band, and at Taize church services. He directed the Chamber Singers of United Church of Chapel Hill for 11 years.

He is a warm and thoughtful teacher, with a variety of creative methods to help students find immediate success and grow to meet greater challenges. He teaches classical music and improvisation.
